The Man With Everything
The Man With Everything
They called him man with everything
For he really had everything,
From land to gold.
What he only thought, was his own desires
So arrogant he was, such a snob
He failed to realize he was burning.
He got everything he craved for.
Even a wife and a child.
But his love for them was questioned.
Was it true or a relationship built upon false promises?
His nature was never dearly
But he did love his family dearly,
And would always hold them tight.
But people refused to believe that
They would call him, 'A man of lies.'
This got to him eventually:
His heart shattered like a hammer on ice
After much hesitation and disclaim,
He thought to himself, if he was the one to blame.
Was it his fault that he lost everyone's trust?
Has his image crumbled into mere dust?
But at the end, we all know the same.
You and I cannot be a part of this game.
Whether he would burn in his own fire,
Or live his life, being called, 'A liar.'
