Four months ago you came, 

Newly born into the world, 

A new member in the house,

Our joy was out of bounds.

Four months ago you came, 

Wrapped in a blanket,

Those naughty twinkling eyes, 

Left us all amazed. 

Four months ago you came, 

My new roomate,

You were all I ever wished for, 

You were the best I could ever have.

As we watched you grow, 

Our tiny little friend,

Turned into a big strong boy,

Took all our breaths away.

The nights spent cuddled beside you,

Playing and running behind you,

Enjoying your tantrums,

While doing anything and everything for you.

Soon, you became my partner in crime,

My sibling to fight,

You aren't just a pet dog,

You are my best friend for life.
