The Solitary Death

The Solitary Death

And one by one,

Everyone disappeared,

Leaving me in pain,

Leaving me with trauma,

Leaving me with thunder within,

Now as I feel the coldness around me sitting under the coffered wooden ceiling,

Trying to feel the warmth that once did exist,

The shine on her face when filled with the sacred vermilion,

The touch of his little fingers when first wrapped in my arms,

The contemporary, ignorant world as it passed by,

All the tantrums thrown for not being able to catch that violet butterfly,

The small happy world we shared,

Distributing all the sorrows equally among us,

Turning all the tears into diamonds.

O that I would've known that this wasn't gonna last enough!

O that I would've known not to raise my spirits much!

O that I wouldn't have stolen the nectar to nourish them for the momentary happiness!

O that I would've known that I'll be the one left in the end!

Well,how does that matter now?

All what I can sense is darkness,

Darkness within and darkness out,

Making my self comfortable on the hard bed

Ignoring its hardness just as mine,

Feelin' the clock ticking for the one last time.
