The Splash to the Core

Pain, I feel, all over my skin, 

But more, it hurts in the core. 

They could have just killed me, 

But they had other cruel plans. 

Gave me such pain at length, 

Seeming to have no real end. 

What was my fault? Loving?

Loving a human skinned animal? 

Or was leaving him my fault? 

Leaving, 'cause he wasn't ready, 

Ready to give me a commitment, 

To accept me for his lifetime? 

He never agreed for the ever joy, 

Instead gave me this scorching pain, 

For leaving 'cause he denied us, 

But what else could I have done? 

He could have ripped my heart out, 

So I wouldn't have to bear this now, 

If he didn't find me beautiful anymore, 

He could have told me, I wouldn't show. 

But he thawed my skin, with his vex. 

Didn't have the guts to do it himself, 

He hired to splash the curse on me, 

Splash of hot acid, and burnt me whole. 

Burnt my eyes, my nose, my lips, 

Burnt my ears, my neck, my breasts, 

Wish I could say, didn't burn my heart, 

But he burnt my whole being, my soul.
