The Story of My Life

Let me tell a story, the story of my life,

Gather your cousins, children and wives.

The thrilling tale of mischief and spice, 

One that is bound to break the ice.

From the highest peak to the lowest pit,

And cold winds blow in places to sit.

Soaring high in the noonday’s bright light,

Or sitting atop a hill in the chilly night.

I went from fresh spring air, to British rains,

Then to the Indian summers that caused me pain.

The north’s mesmerising winter wonderland,

Had me spellbound like an enchanting band. 

However, one adventure finally comes to an end,

Just like no eternal sun or the warmth it lends.

Back home again with my family and my friends,

And new mornings with loved ones I recommend.
