The Terror Aftermath

My child refuses point blank,

The toy gun that I offer,

I too no longer surf the telly,

For the news I once woke up with,

My old Uncle still so full of life,

No longer counts his years remaining,

Terrorized generations just survive,

Praying to a distant God,

Who no longer inhabits,

The temple where he once lived.
