The Thrills From Pills!

My happiness has just returned

The medication it works wonders

Take a pill and wait a while

Then take another 

And the worries don't bother me at all

There's a jungle inside my head

A fucked up forest of fantasy 

I'm on a trek within these lands

Thinking straight and doing grand

But this illusion is only for a stage

My mind it wanders and then it strays

To many lands inside this cage

The thought process is going through the mill

So I think it's time for one more pill

Then it's off to bed for me

Work in the morning to make the bread

To pay the bills to keep ahead

Now is the time for making plans

Clear thoughts are flowing

I feel capable right now and doing fine

When payday comes I'm going on a trip

I'll sail away in my motor ship

leaving here and going far

Not sure where but I don't care

Because I'm taking my pills along for the ride

This fantastic dream is in my mind

I'm going to a place where worries are nonexistent

I can see it now in the distance

In my mind just right now I doing all right

But work tomorrow to play the game

It keeps me going and keeps me sane

Therapy and relaxation is fucking great

But these magic pills are keeping me straight

Just right now I'm on a roll

Feeling happy and feeling calm
