The Triumph
The Triumph
She returned
But lied in wait
She posed
Swishing her tail
Poised breaths apart from her hunt
And then she pounced
She sprung hard
Tearing apart her prey's skin
She slayed
She slaughtered
She spared none.
Through
Lanes decorated with gore
And wind aromatized with charred bodies
She paved her way
Her followers thronged the fort,
Fiery courage welled up in her eyes.
With bloodied hands and a furied mind
She thumped her specter thrice
Back roared her throng in unison
Triumph avenged the pain
She reclaimed her crown and
Once and for all
Proclaimed her reign.
