The True Meaning of Republic

It’s the 72nd Republic Day,

Everyone in the country must say,

“I shall take care of my heritage,

And that is my pledge.”

Republic not only means to be free,

But also to share our glee

With everyone in life,

Instead of having any strife.

Republic also means to be united,

Then only we can get lighted,

Otherwise, we shall fail,

And seem to the world like a small particle of hail.
