The Truth

One day lie pulled me towards him,

Instantly whispered in my ear

To conceal the truth,

I too entirely agreed with him.

Then my head became downcast,

The heart became depressed,

Humanity got deceased,

The soul became aggrieved.

Ensuingly the deity inside me awakened,

Roused me as well

And asked " Will you tell the truth?

Or I will tell it for you? "

I got petrified,

Changed my decision,

Gathered courage to

show my gallantry

And ultimately told the truth.

Suddenly I felt free

My heart became happy 

Soul became ecstatic

I felt the almighty's blessings.
