The Young Detective

Oh! The boastful young personality,

Nigh to a life of twenty.

Guessed and solved a hundred episodes,

But the pride of him boasts.

The populace, conjecturing of him could not cease,

How young of him to guess and solve.

But one sunny and gloomy jiffy,

The young loon took a case boastfully.

A case of brutal mow down,

The victim had the youth's mouth open.

For the victim was none other,

But the boastful clod's father.

The crossed young clod determined,

The terminator to be discovered,

And throw the book at him.

The episodes were investigated by him,

But no conclusion could be procured.

Was the boastful youth fooled? 

The criminal was negative a clod,

For he had left the youth gobsmacked.

The wonders of people commenced to fly,

For the wits of the boastful youth had taken to fly.

The populace questioned the youth's brain,

The boastful young personality negatively stomached the question. 

The young clod could not sustain his disgrace,

Nor his father's murder and disgrace.

His sins of boast had come true,

And fell his pride.

The youth could never in time solve his father murdered,

The case of which had left the populace gobsmacked.
