This Present Moment
This Present Moment
A few days back, the words of love
Seemed so blanch and dull
With the stone and pebbles residing in the chambers of my heart,
With the stone unturned gathering mosses, scrambling emotions apart.
Missing small moments of the fight
The funniest expression of concern
Was there really a Mr Right
To keep my smile alive and fun.
Gathering up the trust, I saw a stranger
Nurturing the smallest of our moments
Who made me realise that love was not
A hollow log to just keep afloat
But to tie them together to cross the blue waves to the coast.
Just his support seems enough to carve the smile on my face
Holding his arms showers strength to continue my race,
Strings of love were lost into oblivion
But just his meagre presence satiated my soul to the power of a million.
