It is said that teachers are the lamp of the nation 

Guiding every generation with their infallible determination

Whenever life crushes us and it seems there's no way out 

You find us at our worst, 

And with a simple smile banish all our doubts

Like a candle, you consume yourself to light the way

Showing the path and invariably redirecting us if we wander astray 

A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart
