Before intelligent, powerful, and talented 

The people who looked at her size

Before learning her struggles 

The people who called her ugly 

Before they saw the flowering blooming inside 

The people who deemed her unfit

Before exploring her accomplishments 

The people who threw around rape like it was a prize to be won 

Before thinking about the livelihood of those women 

The people who point out the hair on her body

Before enticing her scares 

 Know that a woman is the incarnation of a divine angel 

And her body is the closest thing on earth that replicates God 

Know that she is not a vacation island 

But the thunder that casts upon them 

Know that she is not the perfect picture you want

But the paint you need

Know that she is the air you breathe 

And water that helps us thrive

And know why the earth is called MOTHER EARTH

For only from a female can come a male 

And only from a woman's love can a boy turn into a man
