Trees In Color
Trees In Color
In forests tall,
They stand so grand,
Majestic guardians
Of the land.
Their branches reach
For skies above,
Embracing life,
Embodying love.
In whispers soft,
Their leaves converse,
Tales of ages,
Never terse.
Roots delve deep,
In earth they cling,
Anchored firm,
As seasons swing.
Their boughs,
A sanctuary high,
Where birds and breeze
Dance in the sky.
Shade they offer,
In summer's heat,
A haven cool,
Where weary feet meet.
In autumn's cloak,
They don attire,
Golden hues,
A blazing fire.
Then shed their leaves,
Like tears they fall,
A silent ode
To nature's call.
Through winter's chill,
They brave the cold,
A stoic symbol,
Strong and bold.
And when spring breathes
Life into the air,
They bloom anew,
Beyond compare.
In the budding arms
Of spring's embrace,
The trees awaken,
Adorned with grace.
Their limbs, once bare,
Now dance with glee,
As life returns,
A jubilant spree.
In verdant canopies,
Whispers of breeze,
A symphony of leaves,
A vibrant frieze.
Each branch a brushstroke,
Painting the sky,
With hues of green,
Reaching high.
Blossoms bloom,
A fragrant delight,
In the gentle glow of
Dawn's first light.
Their petals,
A chorus in the air,
A tapestry of beauty,
Beyond compare.
Oh, how the trees
In springtime sing,
Of renewal, of hope,
Of everything.
Their silent wisdom,
For all to see,
In the poetry of
Nature's decree.
Hummingbirds
Humhums with gay
From the mango trees
Koel's song fills the sky.
On the no-moon night
Of Phalgun's dark fortnight
People worship Lord Shiva
Lighting diyas overnight.
On phalguns fullmoon day
On the festival of colours
People of all caste and creed
Celebrate holistic over the years,
Establishing solidarity
Harmony among people
Recalling the death of Holika
Victory over the evil.
With new leaves on trees
With different colors
Dancing on the breeze
In the fragrance of of flowers.
Oh, trees!
You gift us air to breathe,
And in your shade,
We find reprieve.
In every leaf,
A story told,
In every forest,
A world unfolds.
