Truth Versus Lies
Truth Versus Lies
There is a beautiful maiden on the seashore,
Watching the sun set and the waves crawling gently at the shore,
Holding her pen, weaving the words carefully,
Whispering it like a buzzing bee.
And immediately, they believed it,
Like how children believe the myths,
Spreading the words like a wildfire,
Until you're entirely stuck in that pile of wire.
There's this boy in a dark room,
His eyes were blindfolded by a white cloth,
Mouth has been sewed by a thread,
Keeping the mouth shut from telling the secret.
And just like the Pandora's box,
Truth can't be well hidden,
As you observed carefully,
The ears are there listening warily to things that eyes can't see.
Truth versus lies,
Who will truly win?
Will lies will be the queen?
Or the truth will be the one who will reign?
