In a fit of rage
Her pearl necklace
Making impression on her delicate skin
He calls her names,
Slurs and what not
And grows smaller in every attempt to belittle her
She watches the moon
Out of her window
And cries to the night silently
Not knowing her lack of resistance
Is the source of all his power
