FLAWS

Everytime you look at your reflection in the mirror,

You keep on staring at your flaws.

Youre so ashamed of yourself

And start to overthink again, your mind, a chaos.

You touch your face, freckles are all over it...

You look at your nose, so crooked and big

Your gaze travels down to your belly, round and fat...

You think of the thin slim waists of other girls, something you never had.

Your legs too are fat and ugly,

So are your hands and your arms...

Your skin not the perfect shade, uneven and there are stretch marks.

Your face not so "beautiful" 

and your eyes, dull and dark and dead,

Your greasy hair, not silky and shiny.

Your face is stained by all the tears you have shed.

You dont match the 'beauty standards',

Your figure is invalidated by others,

You're overweighted and heavy,

Not like other girls who are as light as feathers...

You keep staring at your flaws, and consider yourself as unique.

You are blind towards the beauty of your heart...

All you can see is the 'ugly you' in the mirror,

But you ignore how amazing you actually are.

You let the outer appearance define you..

But beauty is actually whats underneath the mask

The real you is your beauty, which lies deep within your heart.

Your soul is so beautiful and gorgeous...

Theres no need: To call yourself ugly because of being too chubby or too thin and not having perfect curves! 

to be ashamed of freckles, dark skin,

To be depressed about your features!

Why do you let the world determine who you are?

Why do you consider your flaws as ugly?

Your flaws are your beauty

Your flaws make you unique

Your flaws make you imperfectly perfect!

So now, when you stand infront of the mirror,

Never cry again!

Instead, smile at your flaws, start to love yourself as who you are...

Don't try to change yourself,

This way, you will defeat your pain!
