Unveiling the Canvas

I am a blank canvas,

Yearning for colors to take hold.

Losses and pains have made me this way,

But I am not unfazed.

My emotions lie buried within,

Untouched and out of reach.

Once, I revealed my heart's gore,

And now, it lies hidden forevermore.

Should I take another chance,

To break free and dance with life's romance?

Or let it be, and accept my fate,

Maybe some things are better left untouched.

But maybe some things are meant to be confronted,

To uncover the beauty in the chaos,

To find the colors in the dark.

So I will let the brush strokes fall,

And see what masterpiece emerges.

Even if it is not what I expect,

It will be a reflection of my soul's journey.
