VOID
VOID
The ocean was what I was hoping to see at the time, but all I saw was a vast expanse of sea with the tides pounding fiercely on the coasts.
I then longed to see the forest, and when I did, I noticed trees that stood like tall fences, branches that resembled haunted houses, and silence that made it seem as though I had entered a graveyard.
Then, one time, I was headed in the direction of a mountain that I could see on the map when I noticed a gigantic pile of soil surrounded by grass and rock that resembled a giant frog that had just slain a giant snake.
Then I believed that everyone and everything had been given incorrect identities and the world had gone crazy. Because the forests, mountains, and oceans that I read about were all breathtaking and beautiful.
Later I spotted a baby playing with pebbles and trees on the way back to my house.Smiling and conversing with the rocks. She was joyful and content as she held her fantasy tea party. It was a joyful sight to behold.
I turned to the opposite side and saw a forest and a mountain in the distance. The woodland was serene, like I would go insane and discover my soul, and it was lovely like a meadow in bloom with pink and purple flowers.
I stopped by the water on the way home and realized there is nothing more lovely than the way the ocean keeps kissing the land despite being shooed away!!
I had been misled all along; beauty was all around me, but my fear and gloom had prevented me from seeing it. The day was glorious when I walked past the void inside of me.
