Waves

Like the waves on the edge of a shore, you oscillated in my life.

Wetting my spirit with your tenderness every time you came and left me thirsty for your affection until you visit me again.

Sometimes sinking me all into you and sometimes letting me dry for days in the heat of life.

But what kept me sitting on the shore was the anticipation that your love is raising with each setting sun 

and you will return with more love, one dusk, 

and will let nobody separate me from you then.
