We Just Demand

Why don't humans go hand in hand?

Peace at the borders is what we just demand.

When will the Indo-Pak Kashmir issue end?

And we'll get the freedom to smile...

Why am I saying this?

Being a child in Kashmir,

I've seen terrors which paralyze a heart,

Seeing families of innocents break apart...

We are nearly caged, for the 

fear of a terrorist attack ;

Have the brutes ever counted the corpses?

No bloodshed is what we just demand...

Don't desire for new land,

Rule properly what you've in your hand.

Don't let our life become a flicker of anxiety

Evade the darkness of terror, is what we just demand. 

News of' brave soldiers sacrificing 'and

'innocents brutally killed' comes every other day,

Just stop harassing us for a piece of land,

A beautiful paradise is what we just demand.....
