When I lost my Dad
When I lost my Dad
There was a big banyan tree,
it was really green and grand....
Under shade of which I played ..slept and sang..
He gave me everything I asked for,
Yet I failed to say him thanks
On a dense foggy night of December,
Without even a single creak or groan, it sank,
Exposing me to cold and dark,
I shivered and felt I would faint...
Years have floated by, have to yet get used to all this pain ...
I miss that banyan tree, want to lie in its shade once again
