When the Clouds Faded Away at Night
When the Clouds Faded Away at Night
Grieved I was
By worldly troubles
And I was expecting some magic
From the Dark Sky up above
The stars twinkled in contrast
To my doleful eyes
But the moon was nowhere to be seen !!
Much to my surprise.
Then I saw a few clouds in the sky,
Huddled up, close to each other
As if little children hiding
Little trifles behind their back.
And then something happened
The clouds faded, no, ran away
With a childish mischief, to reveal
A Gleeful Silver adorning the Sky
Though it was not round that night
A crescent smile it was,
It still reflected on my mortal face
And magic it was not.
