Wish
Wish
Wishes are cheesy, wishes are cool
But they generally make a person fool
Kids wish for toys, kids wish for games
Every day or two, their wishes change
As teens, we wish to grow as fast
To get rid of being answerable at last
We get past school and reach universities
To wish for enjoyment and late-night parties
Then the job comes and we have money in hand
No one would now question our plans
But older wishes have lost their meaning
We want more money and relax while dreaming
As years pass by and friends get far
Even weekends start feeling like a dark
Now wish just become to have some chore
Else life with passing time becomes more bore
When an earlier wish is fulfilled, we just ignore
As we have now moved on to some new goal
Wishes are infinite and they never end
One fulfilled, new comes in a few seconds
Now the initial lines are making more sense
To become happy, just jump this fence
Else wishes are cheesy, wishes are cool
But they generally make a person fool
