Woman who builds

Though it's more of a male dominated world, 

But it's the hand that rocks the cradle that rules the world, 

Women are true nation builders, 

For they are the ones who raise mighty sons and daughters, 

The upbringing of Mother Yashodha, 

Gave the world the word of the 'Gita', 

Whereas the venom sowed by Gandhari, 

Resulted in the disrobing of Draupadi, 

It's the seeds sowed by Jijabai, 

That we had a righteous king like Shivaji, 

Who is no less than God for most of the people of our land, 

Maybe, that's why it's said that when a girl is educated, 

It's the benefit of the entire family, 

And not just the individual, 

Rather I would say, a strong next generation is built, 

With a mother who has strong faiths and ideals.
