Wonders of Forest
The forest is dense and thick
Yet the traveller has a place to pick
To rest the tired limbs of men and horses
Where there are nearby water sources.
They come upon a forest clearing
It looks like a piece of engineering
As if built by the biggest creator
A flat green next to the crater.
Horses sense the tranquillity
And the complete lack of predators’ hostility
Wild herbivores join the assembly
As the atmosphere is friendly.
The travellers are surrounded by the wild of forest
Even when rest of the place is darkest
The light peeps through the canopy of trees
From the gaps in foliage comes a pleasant breeze.
It is the complete absence of negatives vibes
Which attracts deer and bird tribes
The forest sustains all life
Beautiful yet full of strife.
The darkness seeps through the forest pores
It is time to leave for different shores.
The fragrance of kindness lingers
Like an aroma which clings to fingers.
