Wrong Number: The Entwined Mystery

Wrong Number: The Entwined Mystery

The cell phone screen flashed again,

The same number shook my brain.

The weird digits pinched my heart,

The ringtone rang with an impish art.

The voice was knavish, the tone was crude,

The girl in late teens spoke too good.

She sought for a girl, her friend maybe,

I told her, no girl has ever lived with me.

She laughed out loud to scare my heart,

No problem, young boy; let's play smart.

You are handsome, I know you,

Let us paint this canvas new.

Excuse me! You sought for a girl, I guess,

How the hell do you know my face?

You are a stranger, first of all,

I don't fall for a stranger's call.

But to this, she giggled a lot,

As if she can feel my thoughts.

As if the number on my screen,

Knows me well and knows my gene.

I went ahead to ask her then,

Have you lost it? Are you insane?

I don't even know who you are,

Just another wrong number.

Her crystal voice came again,

I am in senses, not insane.

I got your number from a guy,

Who fooled you as my secret spy.

I am the daughter of a renowned man,

You fell prey to my witty plan.

You paint my whims in lonesome nights,

I dream to fly you like my kites.

Be my slave and let me play,

Be my toy for each day.

Let me fill my lusty whims,

With thy voice, thy ageless screams.

What if I refuse to walk along?

What if I never be thy song?

Will you be able to force me then?

Into your devilish plans insane?

Her laughter crossed all clouds in the sky,

Her throat now sounded yet more dry.

You are a kid who fell in the trap,

Now you can feel my deadly slap.

I lived a life where you had been,

The worthy picture on my screen.

Your smile adorned my life each day,

I made your idols from the clay.

I craved for a touch, your warmth on me,

I was like a boat in thy sea.

You stayed entwined in my dreams,

Ignorant of my groans and screams.

I tried approaching every time,

You slipped away like a broken rhyme.

Never ever your soothing hands,

Embellished my barren lands.

I planned to leave this smothering life,

I chopped my nerves with a lethal knife.

My lifeless body smiled again,

Drenched in blood and terrible pain.

Now my number on your phone,

Will make you scream and make you groan.

My love for you has grown so deep,

I will never let you sleep.

I will count each day and hour,

With a bunch of stunning flowers.

The day you reach the dale of death,

We will fix our broken faith.

We will kiss the crimson hues,

Drenched in tranquil winter dews.

We will build a castle of love,

And dwell in clouds, all above.
