Yellow Petals
Yellow Petals
Perished into it's self absorption
We Just got familiar with the territory of massacre, the domain of fire
coffins carrying the slaughtered humanity
Lays trampled once the land of sunflower...
This world is a family we claim
Why our caretakers busy making money?
While our ears still ringing with
Bullets, Firing rifles and explosives
Why do we sit over it and call it their destiny?
Blown up, robbed, plundered, evicted
Not leaving so quick as they hadn't had enough
hurt and pale faces melting into the crowd
Now it's time to desert the team,
This game's getting dirty, this game is getting tough
Plants are wilted, lives are ravaged
but behold, at a distance blooms a sunflower
Perhaps to stir up hope
With Open yellow petals its calling back
Grooming out of no where !
Though year after year
it will be trampled
It knows this piece of earth is no spot for flower
But amidst the voices of derision
Don't you hear a melodious choir
"Do none of you appreciate Nature?".....
With so much of hideousness inside
There is a beautiful life, can't you even admire?
They are dying now but the roots are good.
Through the dark clouds the sun will shine bright
What if the land got more landmines than sunflowers now,
They will bloom when the time is right.
