You and I made a promise;

A promise not to be broken ever;

As breaking it will break my Heart;

My heart that beats only for You;

You and I shared a thought;

A thought to make our life good;

As our life was supposed to be played out jointly;

But You played me for a fool;

You and I had a friendship – or so I thought;

A friendship that made me complete;

One gleaming morning – I found you were gone;

Now I am incomplete – null and void once again;
