A FICKLE BOY

In a land there was a shepherd. He was a very simple and lively boy. He was handsome and strong. All day the sheep rode in the field and leisurely sang and played the flute. Even the forest animals were mesmerized by listening to his music. The people of that country loved the shepherd very much. There was a terrible demon in that country. He used to trouble Sabai. He used to take the goats of someone's house, and the cows of someone's house. Sometimes he would take people if he wanted to. But he could not tolerate the shepherd boy, because everyone in the village was afraid of the demon but the shepherd was not afraid of him. And this demon could not accept anything.

One day he was going hunting. Then he heard the shepherd boy singing. He was mesmerized by the song of the shepherd boy. He liked the shepherd boy after hearing his music and playing the flute. He wanted to take the shepherd boy with him. He decided in his heart that he would take the shepherd with him as his servant. When the demon is happy, he will listen to the shepherd's song and listen to the flute. So he scared the shepherd and wanted to take him with him. But the shepherd boy was very brave and clever. The demon threatened him in many ways but the shepherd was not afraid of anything. So the demon decided to take the shepherd to his palace when he fell asleep. The demon had a policy. He always carried the sleeping animal with him so that the animal would not squeal. The shepherd knew that. So when he realized the demon's trick, the shepherd decided he would not sleep again. The demon is no less clever, he stuck to an idea. He kept saying “how mow eat man smell”. The shepherd fell into a deep sleep after hearing the same thing over and over again. Meanwhile, the demon took the shepherd to his palace.

The demon made a golden cage for the shepherd. He arranged all kinds of facilities in the cage. The demon just wants the shepherd to stay here and listen to him sing and play the flute. But the shepherd who is as free as a free bird will find happiness in a golden cage. He stopped singing, stopped playing the flute. He does not eat properly, does not smile, does not speak. No matter how much the demon tries to please him, he does not smile. In this way, the shepherd fell ill after not eating for days. The demon was very worried. One day the demon saw the shepherd lying unconscious and rushed to see Kabiraj Masai. Seeing the shepherd properly, Kabiraj Masai understood the shepherd's problem. He told the demon that if the cowherd did not eat, the cowherd might die at some point. So Kabiraj Masai told the demon to set the shepherd free. Hearing this, the demon was upset. He loved the shepherd dearly, he didn't want any harm to the shepherd. So he thought a lot. At one point he decided he would set the shepherd free. One day he apologized to the shepherd and set him free.

The shepherd regained his old life and began to laugh again as before and began to sing. He became friends with the demon. When the shepherd wants, he sings to the demon, plays the flute. The demon no longer oppresses the villagers as before, instead the demon protects the villagers from other more dangerous demons. And thus the demon and the shepherd became friends and began to live happily and peacefully
