A Love Bond

Jaanvi was trying the call since morning, but there was no response. It's Rakhi day and she was eagerly waiting for her brother's call who was abroad. But she did not get any call like every year when her brother calls her in the morning itself to wish her.

Today, it was surprising. it was afternoon and she was waiting for a call. Her parents tried to console her but tears rolled down from her eyes. She loved her brother very much. She never missed any day when she did not call her brother twice a day. But it was different then. 

She cried a lot and went to bed. Suddenly after 1 hour her mother came to wake her up and informed that her brothers call had come. Her joy knew no bounds. She showed her anger on her brother on call but forgot that there was no response from the other side. There was no one on call or the call was cut. She even thought that her parents were kidding with her. She looked at her mother who was smiling.

She understood that her mother lied to her. She left for her room determined not to talk with her mother again. 

When she entered her room; she could not believe her eyes her brother was sitting on the bed with a lot of gifts and a lot of love. She ran and hugged him and cried a lot. It was a big surprise for her. Then she tied rakhi on her brother's hand.
