Dingo the deer startles when something fell from the sky. He feels an acute pain on his back. It’s raining. Dingo rushes to their secured shelter of leaves. Oh, there are already many of them inside, but still Dingo manages to get a place for himself.

“Ahh... when we were young, rain was a blessing for us. We used to bath in rain, the jungle used to chuckle with new lives. But now! Oh our former happy days, where you are?” old tiger Maruk uttered these words with a sigh.

“Come on grandpa, you often mumbled this but why we have never seen such beautiful rain of yours? Now whenever I think about rain, I begin to feel a pain of burning.” says naughty monkey Manku.

“It’s all about bad luck my dear. Human beings committed the sin and we are getting the punishment.”

“What do you mean grandpa?”

“He is right Manku.”, said Dingo, “I also heard from my mom that once this earth was so beautiful but those human beings did evil things against Mother Nature, they tortured her so much that Nature is now cursing us in this way.”

“But it’s not fair brother, if we did nothing wrong then why are we suffering?” asked rabbit Rabbu.

“We also did nothing to save her Rabbu.”

It’s raining since the morning. Vutto is watching the yellow rain from the glass window. Suddenly Mr. Biswas pats on Vutto’s back. Vutto is shocked. Is he not going to leave today?

“Daddy, aren’t you going to leave for office?’

“I need to dear, but your mom is not giving me that permission.”

“She is absolutely right. The doctor has said that acid-rain is very dangerous for your health.” Rima chuckles.

Suddenly the door-bell rings and Biswas rushes to the door. Three men in special raincoats and briefcase enter to the house. Biswas welcomes them to his office. Vutto smiles within himself, now Rima will play with him.

“Oh my god! Kakka you...! Everyone is shocked to see their friend crow Kakka in this rain. Her feathers have burned in many places. Kakka is gasping, “Something more ominous is waiting than this continuous rain, friends...!”

“What happen Kakka?” asks Dingo.

“When the rain stopped for a while I left for the town to seek some food. There I met my friend Vutto, a pet dog of a high profile government officer. Vutto gave me that terrible news.”

“And what is it?”

“Vutto told me that her master Mr.Biswas along with some scientists and government officials is preparing a dangerous weapon for war. Everything will be destroyed friends; none of us will be spared.” Kakka cries.

“Excellent, do they think the world is only theirs?” Manku says angrily.

“May be.”

“Cannot we do anything?”

“Come on, we are wild animals. How can we go against civilized humans?” Rabbu sighs.

“We can. If we unite together then no one can beat us, not even humans.” Gravely says fox Shilu.

“Are you serious?”

“I agree with Shilu. We can’t just sit and wait for the destruction. We have to do something. Are you with me?” asks Dingo.

“Yes we are. Let’s begin our protest.”

*****

“Sir if we attack them with atomic weapon then no one can stop the world War-III.”

“I know Chaubey, but if we don’t take the advance then they will. We have nothing in our hands now, world war is coming.”

World War! What is it! Rima overhears her dad’s conversation. Now they do only study science, maths, commerce and economics in school. Arts subjects have been discarded from the curriculum. But Rima herself likes to know about history. So, she immediately asks her smart computer about the world war; and the result shocks her. She begins to tremble at the dangerousness of the war.

It’s early morning. The workers of weapon factory are having their morning tea. Suddenly a tornado rushes to the building. Soon the workers discover that it’s actually not a tornado rather a team of wild animals are rushing towards them.

“No no no... it can’t happen.”

“what’s the matter dad?”

“Oh Rima, everything is finished. Suddenly some animals rushes to our arms factory and destroyed everything.” Mr.Biswas begins to cry bitterly.

*****

“It’s our first victory friends, though some of our friends have martyred and some are injured but we are successful.” Says Shilu.

“But it’s not the end brothers. The journey has just begun. Our bird-friends are flying from place to place as messengers of our protest. They will try to unite our friends from foreign states and nations. Human don’t know the meaning of unity but we will show them the strength of unity. And we will...”

Before Dingo could finish his words, others cry in full volume, “Save our Mother Nature.”
