Adieu!!

When I swore the oath, I was determined to save my country. When I was given the duty at borders, I knew I was protecting my unknown brothers and sisters from many unknown, so-called "enemies".

When I suffered under the scorching heat and the bitter cold, I was strong. I was brave enough to fight for my country. I gave only secondary importance to my feelings, my family and my health....

But now, when I lie here, in a closed box which is covered with an Indian flag, I could hear only the cries of my family. I could only hear the inner voices of my heart that still has some life.

Nobody cared for me, for whom I sacrificed my life. But, let them be normal. Their calm sleeps are the sacrifices of our sleepless nights. Their happiness is our sufferings. We risk our lives for their safety. But I am contented to leave.....

Because I died and served my country.
