They sat next to each other on the train, still pretending to be strangers. Neither of them spoke, as an unsettling silence descended between them. Without using words, both of them knew what they were thinking. It was almost as if they could clearly read each others minds. Curiosity dawned upon them, as they both thought back to the time when they were partners-in-crime.

It was the Summer of 2002, seventeen years ago. They were involved in the murder of a famous singer- Camila Mendes. In fact, they were the brains behind the murder.

She was attending the 'Met Gala', and everyone knew she was allergic to soy milk. She had taken a glass of milkshake kept on the table island with her- and everyone else's food. She did not know it was high in soy milk content, and drank the whole glass of chocolate shake. But, it was too late by then. Camila Mendes had died. It took the police around one year to investigate the murder, and it included three wrong arrests and over two hundered suspects (everyone attending the met gala and other enemies.)

After they kept on running into dead ends, and not being able to find any incriminating evidence against the murder, the case was closed and declared an accident.

Till date, no one knows it's these two,, and it was not an accident, but indeed a murder. After the case being called an accident, these two vowed never to see each other again. This was the first time in seventeen years, they say each other. But neither one looked, or talked to one another. All either of them wanted, was to get off the train.

It was another hour of anxiety for both, when one of them got off at their stop. He left a notebook, labelled 'One can keep a secret.' The one sitting in the train, waiting for her stop ran her hands through the pages of the book. This was it. This is what he meant. Before he got off the train he said,"tick-tock." Another mission awaited her. The plan, hidden in the left- behind notebook. The life of another person resting in her hands...
