So, it all starts with my mom's love to feed me preparations of bitterness as the main course during lunchtime. Be it fried bitter gourd, neem leaves, or drumsticks.


It may come as a surprise to you, but not for a single day did I hate it. I used to gobble those up.


For me, lunch seemed incomplete without any of those.


In fact, to reduce indigestion problems, my mom used to soak Methi seeds in water overnight and give me a cup of the extracted water.


Now, as I am in my final year of my M.Sc., facing stress, maintaining stress-eating, and experiencing regular indigestion, I miss those days.


Maa, thank you for those magical moments!


Whenever I get a chance in the future, I will restart having those bitter treats!
