Circle Of Life In Diversity

It was the 5th semester if I remember on the annual function My name was in the organizing team one of the biggest Achievement I feel proud even today. Oh, that’s not what I was meant to talk, it’s about the fashion show, first time ever to be done in our college now University. I proposed it as co-chairing the cultural committee and decided it will be out batch only, never the less we started taking entries. We mean my best friends and found boys were also interested now the theme was a great concern. We could not follow the FTV then, of course, we were shy and took a fashion show as you know how it was 2004 of course.

Then we decided to go for brides and grooms of all the states with a motto of National integration the practice was more fun than the finale. We took skin colors and height and looks to decide who belongs to which state and we were talking about National integration it’s so strange when I recall now. But one thing I mention the show broke hearts and joined new. Special mention I had no entry in the show because I was not very pretty as thought by me due to how people see me that’s the girlfriend of the prettiest girl of the college. It’s not their fault my batch had the highest number of girls and all of them were smart, pretty, and had fashion sense not when I see our photos after 10 years.

But still, my friends were very possessive and loved me they planned my entry. The finale day came the lady who was anchoring was a senior if I remember and our show was at last. The anchor announced the show and then I had to say the story yes the music was Nusrat Fateh Ali khan Don’t judge me then that was the best we could find. Why all this because I have no stage entry I became Director yes show choreographer and Director.

I don’t know did that mean anything to anyone. In the course of time, it was one of my passion not that I wanted to become a model but yes fashion was the topic which made me decide my career and the founder of Odisha supermodel. Again don’t judge me this time I got the stage entry of course not the first season but the second season.

Dreams and aspirations are the only best thing that keeps you alive. So your small efforts make you the gorgeous you with confidence. I managed a show with my friends, paired them of course mutually agreeable condition, motivated model types to join the show, concluded a theme. I guess if you can convince your equals then it’s a great start. Then after 14 years, I remembered the show when I found the banner prop we used the “ Unity in Diversity”. It was maroon cloth with silver paint which we did in the lady's hostel.
