Day-16-The Patriarchy

It's not just the women, at times, men too be the victims of the patriarchy.

All movies, All stories, All articles, All quotes. Everywhere I am finding "The patriarchy and the women". Yes They suffer at majority. and We, The men suffer at minority.

At the simplest, I am not allowed to cry. and what if I do?. Sometimes I feel more to cry just because I am not free to cry. Tears have nothing to do with the manhood.

Tears of joy and sorrow are same. They are same of men and women.

And it's not just about the tears, about the emotions. Many other ways society makes me feel I am not one of them.

Yes many other ways,

Sports, Politics, Stocks, Nothing? When I reply, Yes none of these are my interests. People react. They do.

Strategies,Groupism at Work? When I reply, I am very bad in all these. People react, They do.

Social? When I reply, Not much, infact very less. People react, They do.

I agree, I may need to explore some fields, to survive with ease. What I disagree is, not just because I am a man.

Yes, The society says, some interests are compulsory for the men. That's the base of patriarchal discrimination.

Interests, choices all come from our very own genes. Over the time, our life, our actions, reactions, experiences all teach us, evolve us. Neither love nor the hate, Neither interests nor the hobbies come from the thin air, over the years, they evolve.

It's not just the installation of a software, in fact that too needs a certain kind of compatibility with the system.

The society has made a ToDo list for the men as well. And a list of labels for the unconventionals.

The patriarchy never ends, it just gets revisions.
