Dead Mother's Picture...

The rain got harder as Tina walked alone in tears through the dense forest. She knew all along that her stepmother detested her, but never in the world had she thought that her stepmother would throw her out of the house. Just after her father had stepped out of the house for some business of his own. Let’s go to the flashback and see what had happened, due to which poor Tina was now outside, soaking wet.

A few years back, when Tina was 13, her mom died in a car accident. Ever since, Tina and her father were on their own. One day, when Tina’s father had gone to buy groceries, Tina thought of surprising her dad by cutting vegetables. While cutting the veggies, she accidentally cut her finger. When her dad came back and saw her cut finger, he instantly decided that Tina needed a mother to take care of her. Since then, Tina has had a stepmother as well as a stepsister. What happened today was that when Tina came back from the market, she saw her little step sister trying to tear up a picture of Tina’s mother. When Tina tried to advise her sister not to tear it, her sister started crying.

Her mother, assuming that Tina had smacked her sister, was furious and started whacking poor Tina. After that, Tina had red marks all over. Her mom sent her away alone in the forest. While coming back to Tina, while walking alone, in deep thoughts of her own, Tina, by mistake, stumbled upon whom? But, her father! After hearing the entire story, Tina’s dad was furious. He immediately went home and sent the stepmother and stepsister away. Tina and her father have lived happily ever after since.
