DIALOGUE BETWEEN A TREE & A BIRD REGARDING THE ACTIVITIES OF HUMANS

Tree: Hi there! I see you have laid two new eggs on my branches.

Bird: Yes, but I have to be much more careful and take care of my eggs.

Tree: Why?

Bird: Our eggs are sometimes eaten by the people who come to the jungle for adventures.

Tree: Our lives have become devastating because of those horrible humans. You see, they are even killing, us in large numbers to fulfil their needs.

Bird: They are even destroying our homes and snatching our eggs.

Tree: Don’t they have feelings?

Bird: How do they feel when a baby is snatched from his/her mother? Don’t they feel so, when they snatch our eggs which could grow into cute chicks one day?

Tree: You see that they are ungrateful to us. We give them food, shelter, and oxygen and bring rain for them to cultivate crops.

Bird: They are such heartless ones and claim them to be the best and most advanced of living things.

Tree: The first quality to be the best and most advanced is to feel for others and care for them.

Bird: They think that we have no emotions and can’t feel.

Tree: But they don’t know that-
