Diwali

Diwali is festival of lights and is celebrated throughout the country. It is my favourite festival. Diwali is also called Deepavali, festival of lights that celebrated triumph of light over dark and good over evil. Everyone light "kandil" and "diya" outside their doors, people put colourful "rangoli" outside their doors, everyone exchange sweets and wish each other. We prepare lots of sweets and delicacies at home, I go to meet my friends and relatives. We go shopping to buy gifts , the market place is buzzing with beautiful lanterns and colourful "diyas". I love Diwali very much. We worship Goddess Laxmi and perform Laxmi pujan, we also go to the temple. I don't burst fire crackers to avoid noise and air pollution. We should always take care of our environment while celebrating festivals.
