“Yaaan” Yawned Kai. He was a very happy and a middle-class man with a family. He brushed his teeth and had breakfast after doing this he went to his office. He was a software engineer. He reached his office and the boss called for a meeting.


Where in a meeting boss introduced all his members to a new client named Joseph who came all the way from the USA , the client demanded them to make an app for him where he wanted to sell books online so he can keep track for all things he wanted the app in ten days’ time. After the client went the boss addressed all his teammates to complete it within ten days.

Kai and all the teammates started to work on this project but Kai was not happy with the job as his passion from childhood was cooking. He loved to cook food and always carried extra food for his team mates. During lunchtime, one of his colleagues named Jia suggested to him that if you are not happy with this job then why don’t you start your own business. Kai said, “What! My own Business?”. “Yes, your own Business,” said Jia. “Like what type of Business? “asked Kai. Jia said, “Your dream is cooking so follow your dream”


After lunch they started to work on their project on the tenth day when they showed the app to client, there was an error the boss got frustrated and fired Kai as he was the team leader of the project. 

The next day Kai started to cook and deliver food to known people and relatives. Slowly and steadily the demand for food began to rice so, he thought of finding a bigger place so he can cook food and deliver it by keeping delivery men and for all this, he needed more money. So, he took a loan from the bank.


He got a place, some cooks to help him and scooters for delivery men, Jia helped him to make an app for him so that people could order food from him. He named this work “FOODY”. At an initial stage, they kept discounts so that they can gather more orders quickly. Slowly, they got more orders but the company was facing a financial crisis due to discounts given.

Even though he was facing problems he tried and tried and one day he finally succeeded. After some time, his business grew and today his company has franchises all over the world and making good profits.


The moral of the story is one should not stop following one's dream despite all the trouble and hard work faced during the process.
