Education Is Life

Once there was an artist. He was really a past-master in the field of painting. He painted a picture of a cute boy. The picture was so beautiful that it was selling like a hot cake. It was his masterpiece. The artist became famous in no time.

As time passed, the artist also grew older. In his old age, he had a desire to paint one more memorable picture. He needed a suitable character for the same. He visited hospitals, schools, railway stations, etc. Finally, he met a young man in a prison who was looking depressed and remorseful. The artist went near the young man and told that he painted a picture of a cute boy 25 years ago and got name and fame. Now he wants to paint his picture because he is the right person for his work.

As the young man listened to the artist he started weeping. The artist asked him why he was weeping. The young man replied that the cute boy in the picture was none but he.

The artist was shocked.

He asked how this great transformation took place. The young man told him that he could not get a proper education. He could not know what is good or bad, what is right or wrong for him. He indulged himself in the wrong deeds. As a result, he is there in the prison.
