Fear And Excuses

One day Papa told me to prepare tea. I said, I don't know, I have never prepared. So, Mummy will prepare today. I will try next time.

After two days, Papa again asked me to prepare. I was not at all interested to and I didn't know also how to prepare. So, I said, no Papa, today Didi will prepare. I will prepare next time for sure.

After three days, Papa came to me and said, "Would you like to prepare a cup of tea for me?" I said, "Papa..... actually......" Papa replied, today I will take tea prepared by you only. I do not want to listen to any excuses.

I started crying by hearing such harsh voice from Papa. Seeing me crying do badly, he came to me and told, "I know that you do not know how to prepare tea nor you have prepared before". I just wanted to see your interest. I was checking whether you have any interest to try something new, at least for me,". But see...you did not even try. No body is perfect and everybody should start one day. If you will fear a new attempt, you can never attempt that fear neither you will overcome from that. Fear is there to scare you, don't be. Try to overcome

I was listening to each and every word of Papa very carefully. Suddenly, I created a vibe inside me that I can prepare tea and first of all I should try for that. With the help of Mummy and Didi, I could prepare a cup of tea for my Papa.
