For The Love Of Animals.

I still remember that day fifteen years ago when my husband came home to 'meet' me , of course before marriage.

Now I come from a family of animal lovers. We had four cats at home and my mother was friends with every other stray dog. But then as we got talking, my husband revealed he quite disliked animals. He wouldn't hurt them, but had no affinity to pets.

We got married and whenever he visited my house, he had no option but to pet our cats. I would feed the stray dogs so he would chip in too at times.

Today, so many years post marriage, I proudly see my husband do a lot for animals. He is now a blue cross member, goes out of the way to help strays , reports crime against animals...

When I jokingly remind him of his lack of affinity for our four legged friends, he tells me matter of factly, that loving animals has definitely made his world better. And that he got all his inspiration from me and my kindness towards animals.

I am so glad I could unintentionally inspire atleast one person, could bring a small change in one human and many innocent animals' lives.
