Ganesh Victory

Today I would like to share the story of how Ganesh won over Subramanya Swamy.

One day all people in Kailash were very confused about who is great among the two sons of Lord Siva and Parvati Matha. So everyone decided to conduct a competition between two brothers Ganesh and Subramnyam Swamy. The competition was who will finish revolving three lokas faster will be the winner. Everyone agreed and the competition started.

Subramanyam Swamy took the help of his peacock and started his journey but Ganesh was very upset as he was stout and more over his rat can't run faster in the competition. So Ganesh went to his parents for help. Siva and Parvathi matha told Ganesh not to worry and they told them parents are the Gods for any children, so do three rounds around them and you will win this contest.

Ganesh followed his parent's words and finished three rounds around them. Magically Subramanyam Swamy found Ganesh wherever he went and was very much surprised. Finally, Subramanyam Swamy came to Kailash with a lot of confidence. But everyone declared Ganesh as the winner. Subramanyam Swamy was surprised and dumb stuck for a while. Then his parents explained how cleverly Ganesh took their help and won the contest.

Finally, Subramanyam Swamy was convinced and accepted Ganesh as the winner.

From there people started offering the first prayer to Ganesh on all Poojas. Ganesh respected his parents and he also became a respectable person.
