Grandma's old recipe book

Julie: Hey mom, do you know what today is?

Mom: No, my dear, what is today?

Julie: Today is Jasmine's Birthday!

Mom: Really that's so nice, did you wish her?

Julie: No I am gonna act like I don't remember her birthday.

Mom: Oh well, as you wish

Julie: She has a birthday party, I wanna give her a gift

Mom: Thats a nice idea, what does she like?

Julie: Hmm, Let me think...

5 minutes later

Julie: Mom Mom what about we bake a cake for her, she loves cakes and sweets.

Mom: Good idea Jules

Julie: But we have one problem

Mom: What is it?

Julie: Do know how to bake one?

Mom: That's not a problem at all. Your grandmother has a secret recipe book, remember once she baked us a cake.

Julie: Yep that one was truly tasty! Where is there book?

Mom: It's in my cupboard let me bring it.

Julie: Ok mom

Mom comes with the book, they dust off the dirt and open it.

Julie: Wow there are so many awesome recipes here!

Mom: Your granny was a food lover and a great chef.

Julie: Yeah, I can see all the yummy food stories about her are true, now lets find a cake recipe

Mom: Here, this is a chocolate cake recipe, lets start.

*They gather all the ingredients*

After 15 min

*They finish making the batter*

Julie: Well I didn't know making a cake was such an easy task {Me: My true opinion}

Mom: Guess you'll never know what you can do unless you try.

Julie: Now lets put the cake in the oven and wait for 40 minutes, till then we can prepare the cream.

Mom and Julie keep the cake in the oven and start preparing the cream

After 5 min

Julie: Done!

Mom: yep! But the cake is still in the oven and 10 minutes are still left, so till then go and decide what you are gonna wear.

Julie: Okie Mumma

After 10 minutes

*Ting*

Julie: The cake is done lets check it out!

They remove the cake from the oven

Mom: The cake looks awesome, right?

Julie: Yep! Jasmine will love it, now lets let it cool off then we'll apply the cream

After cooling the cake, they start putting the cream and unicorn decorations since Jasmine loves unicorns.

Julie and Mom{in unison}: Done!

Julie: *giggles* Yay now lets put it in a box

They put it in a box and wrap it

Mom: Now go get ready.

Julie: Okie mumma

They get ready and leave for the party with the cake

At the party

Julie: Hi Jas, Happy Birthday!

Jasmine: I almost thought you forgot my birthday

Julie: How could I forget? Here your present

Jasmine: Looks pretty big

She unwraps the wrapper and opens the box

Jasmine: OMG its a cake that too a unicorn one! This is the best gift ever!

Julie: Thanks Jas! Glad you liked it

Jasmine: Where did you buy it from?

Julie: Uh... I and my mom made it by ourselves

Jasmine: Nice Joke

Julie: I am not joking, we actually made it...Taste and tell me how it is.

Jasmine:*tastes the cake* It is.....

Julie: It is what?

Jasmine: The tastiest cake I've ever eaten!!

Julie: Wow!! that's awesome I am happy you liked it

Jasmine: I don't like it

Julie: Oh

Jasmine: In fact I love it dude!

Julie: Phew! You literally scared there for a second!

They both start laughing and have a lot of fun!!
