Former Honorable Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji's son worked in a certain bank.

The executives of the bank recognized him as the son of the Honorable Prime Minister of India.

One employee whispered to his colleague,

The manager called the son of Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji.

"The performance is really impressive.

A promotion is what you will be expecting."

Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji came to know about this news.

Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji said to himself,

"It's been a few days since my son has been employed.

Is it hard work or the relationship?

It's about time that I take the quickest action."

Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji called the manager of the bank.

"What's special about him that urged you to give him a promotion?

A lot of training and hard work was my expectation."

The manager said in a flattering voice,

"How could a son of such a great personality lag behind?

Your position was in my mind."

Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji replied,

"If my position is the reason for his promotion,

I would rather suggest his demotion."

Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji continued,

"Hard work and perseverance should be the reasons for success.

If relation comes in the way, the person will never progress."

The manager apologized and cancelled the promotion.
