Hazel's Double Life- New Life, New Adventures

Previously on Hazel's Double Life- Hazel has now turned to Iris by wearing a disguise. At school, she hasn't made friends yet because she is new to all these things. Claire, a model who competed with Hazel a few years is jealous of her because she lost in it. She keeps babbling about Hazel, that how bad she is. Iris (Hazel) can't take it anymore of Claire and wants to tell everyone the truth about her. However, Trevor stands up for Hazel which makes Claire furious. Later on, Iris appreciated Trevor so he made a promise not to bully her again. Moreover, they became best friends from that day on. 

                                  Chapter Three 

                       New Life, New Adventures

Trevor is amazing and very talented. He is funny and cunning too. He is pretty good at sports especially at basketball and skateboarding. We became very close and often hang out together most of the time. One day he insisted me to try the skateboard. I clearly said no but he kept saying so I agreed. I stepped on the skateboard, holding Trevor's hand but I told you earlier, he's known for his pranks. He left my hand and I started to tremble. I was about to fall but Trevor caught me on time. Phew! What a relief. I'm still alive but mad at Trevor.

Iris (Hazel)- Trevor, I'm gonna kill you. Why you left my hand knowing this is my first time? What if I got hurt.

Trevor- It's fine Iris. I caught you on time anyway and I knew I would. Besides, don't talk about 'what if'. In Trevor's dictionary, it's a word that makes you lose your confidence. 

Iris- Seriously, look who's talking. 

I and Trevor started to laugh. Then we bought ice cream and sat on the lush green grass, watching the sunset. I thought to ask a question to Trevor about which I was curious and was eager to get the answer. 

Iris- Hey, you know Hazel Watson, the model?

Trevor- Duh! I know her too well. I'm her big fan. I really don't like when Claire keep lying about her. Why do you ask?

Iris- About that, why you like her so much? 

Trevor- Well, when I was twelve, my sister became very sick. I was in the hospital worrying about her health and the money for the treatment, that's when Hazel entered and comforted me and my sister. She also brought so many presents for my sister and payed for her treatment too. Earlier, I thought rich people only care about money but, I was wrong. Some rich people like Hazel are kind- hearted too. That's why I'm her big fan. 

Iris- Oh, indeed she is great. That's what I wanted to clear about you. Well, as you answered my question we should be heading our homes. See you at school tomorrow. Buy-bye. 

Trevor- Bye Iris. Have a good night sleep. 

Now, I kinda remember that day, when I visited the hospital. I went to my bed and started to think about my life. This is the life I wanted. I'm free from modelling, got an amazing BFF, not being home-schooled anymore and most importantly do I what I want to do. This is called freedom. However, struggles are on my way to disrupt the peace of my life.
