Heart Full Of Pious Love

Manya, a 2nd-year graduate student, was secretly in love with a college star Aditya who was in final year of his graduation. He was the dream of every girl, but he never dated anybody. He was waiting for the right moment when he will find his dream girl. Manya never loved him for his looks or his standard; she loved him for his good heart. Her 2nd year had just started, some students enrolled in that year. From those new students, there was a girl named Ruhi. She was in Manya's class. Ruhi befriended Manya, and soon they became good friends. Ruhi was beautiful, and a simple girl whereas Manya was a little bit snazzy. Aditya noticed Ruhi and was mesmerized by her beauty and simplicity. She was the kind of girl Aditya always dreamed of.

Staff members of the College were delaying identity card of new students. Ruhi was upset as she wanted to issue library books which could be issued through id card only. Aditya got an opportunity and offered Ruhi to help. Ruhi didn't respond to his offer whereas Manya's heart was brimming with joy. She immediately accepted his proposal on behalf of Ruhi. Manya was having no idea regarding Aditya's feeling for Ruhi. Manya was in love with Aditya for the past one year, but he had never noticed her. For the first time for whatever reason, they talked, and it was the big thing for her.

Aditya noticed Ruhi's disinterest towards him. So to come close to ruhi he befriends Manya. Now Manya was in seventh heaven; all this was a dream for her. Manya, Aditya, and Ruhi started hanging out together. Aditya and Manya began to chat a lot. Aditya found a great friend in Manya. One day he disclosed his feelings regarding Ruhi to her. She was heart broken; it hurts when the person you love madly is in love with other person and especially your close friend. Aditya requested Manya to talk to Ruhi about him. Manya handled herself and decided to help him as sometimes the greatest act of love is to let it go.

Manya talked to Ruhi about Aditya, but Ruhi was not ready to be in a relationship. Manya requested her to give him at least one chance. After thinking for a while, she agreed. After knowing this Aditya was euphoric, he hugged Manya and thanked her. After that day Aditya and Ruhi started to spend time together. Manya was happy in Aditya's happiness.

Like this one year passed. In this one year, Aditya and Manya talked at times. Aditya's graduation was completed, whereas Manya and Ruhi were in the final year of graduation. In one year there were drastic changes in Ruhi's behavior. At first, she was reserved, but gradually she opened up. Slowly and gradually people started to admire her especially the boys. Her simplicity, her beauty was loved by everyone including teachers. Now she was in the spotlight, and she got used to it. On the other hand, Manya was noticing this change in Ruhi, she was happy but also tensed as Ruhi started to hang out with different boys. Manya asked Ruhi about Aditya, and she told her that she is no more interested in Aditya or a relationship as it restricts her independence. Manya was shocked, she tried to save their relation but Ruhi had already broken up with Aditya, and he was completely broken.

 

Manya was worried as she knew the pain of the broken heart quite well. Manya tried reaching out to him, being there for him, but he was distant and not answering the calls. Then after some days, Aditya called Manya, she immediately responded to him. He requested Manya to bring Ruhi back to his life. But Manya knew very well that she was not the same Ruhi, so she told Aditya to move on and love the person who respects his feelings. Manya decided to meet Aditya frequently to cheer him up. She did not try to take advantage of this situation in her favor. She wanted to help Aditya as a friend and didn't expect him to reciprocate her love. Months passed by and their friendship deepened, the love and care he got from Manya made him realize the depth of her selfless love for him. Whatever he had expected from Ruhi he unexpectedly got from Manya. He too fell in love with her. He decided to propose her on her birthday which was due soon.

He made great arrangements for the very special occasion. Manya was unaware of all this. She was heartily surprised. She was unaware of the bigger surprise that awaited her. Aditya proposed her and confessed his love for her. Manya was surprised, and at the same time euphoric, she didn't know how to react. For her, this was the dream that became a reality. She accepted his proposal, and they lived happily after.

Manya's love was unconditional. Her heart was full of genuine pious love. How a person is within is much more important than the worldly beauty and simplicity.
